• Pressing the on-screen Bridge button places the WAP200G into Bridge
Mode. When placed in this mode the WAP200G allows devices with only
wired 10/100 Ethernet ports such as; printers, PlayStation2s, X-Boxes,
PVRs, etc. to connect wirelessly to the network.
Note: Once the Mode is changed from AP/Repeater to Bridge, flip the LAN/PC
switch to PC, cycle power to the WAP200G and re-establish communication
through the web browser. In Bridge Mode, several of the Configuration Utility
tabs will not be displayed.
• After connection is re-established, the title 802.11g Bridge appears below
the browser's Address field.
• For more information on setup and communication through the Bridge Mode,
refer to the following Bridge Mode Configuration Utility Pages section on
page 63.
This section of the Administration page focuses on locating any recently
downloaded firmware and upload it to the target WAP200G.
• The latest NXA-WAP200G Firmware can be found at AMX's product support
page (http://www.amx.com/dealer-support.asp).
• Download the firmware file to a known location on your hard-drive.
• After the file has successfully downloaded, use the Browse button to locate
and select the downloaded firmware.
• Press the Upload button to update the firmware to the target WAP200G.
Note: You MUST be connected via Ethernet in order to properly upgrade
the on-board firmware. If you are connected wirelessly while trying to upload
the firmware, you will get a generic error message on the top portion of the
Administration page.
