The Color section in the Sun tab of the Lighting Control palette will let you specify a color for the light coming from
the sun. You can change the color by clicking on the color swatch and picking a new color from the Color palette or by
dragging the Red, Green or Blue sliders.

Color swatches in Atmosphere have 3 palettes. Clicking brings up the Color palette, Ctrl-clicking brings up a mini
palette, and Alt-clicking brings up the web standard colors palette.

Tutorial: Coloring the Sun

Changing the Sun's color can change the mood of your world. To change the color of the sun, follow these steps.
1 Open an Atmosphere world that uses the Sun for a light source.
2 Select View > Player View (F4) to open a Player view window.
3 Select the Window > Lighting Control menu command to open the Lighting Control palette. In the Sun tab of the
Lighting Control palette, click on the color swatch to open the Color palette. Select a blue color swatch and close
the dialog box. This will update the Sun color to blue.
4 In the Controls tab of the Lighting Control palette, click on the Start button to begin the lighting calculation.
A scene with a the Sun color set to white. The default Sun color is pure white. Changing the Sun's color dramatically alters
the scene. This is the same scene with a blue Sun color.

Using the Background as a Light Source

The background sky can be set to be an emissive surface. To apply a color to the background sky, select a color in the
Inspector and click on the background with the Apply Texture Tool (K).
