HP e-Commerce/XML Server Accelerator SA7150 User Guide
Component of XML patterns (see). A path specification which, if for
which a match occurs in both an incoming XML data document and
and active XML expression, results in the SA7150 further examining
the document for XML expression matches.
A content-encoding method optionally employed in HTTP
documents. The SA7150 transparently decodes URL-encoded
content before performing XML processing
A test for syntactical correctness of the two XML pattern
components, URI expressions and XML expressions. Performed
automatically each time one of these expressions is entered in the
process of creating an XML pattern.
A well-known certificate authority.
A test for syntactical errors, performed each time the SA7150 detects
a URI expression match in the XML data stream. If errors are
detected and if the xml_well_formed command is set to enable, an
error message is sent to the requesting client. If set to disable, the
document goes to the mapped server (see).
Extended Markup Language. A self-describing, text-based data
format designed to facilitate the efficient storage and transmission of
text date across a variety of media and platforms.
Component of XML patterns (see). A specification of an XML
element, attribute, or text within an XML pattern. If the SA7150
detects a URI expression match between an active XML pattern and
an incoming XML document, it further examines the document for
XML expression matches. Upon finding one or more such matches
the SA7150 sends the document to the server to which the matching
XML pattern is assigned.
See "Node."
A configuration created with the create pattern CLI command,
assigned to a specific server and containing two components: a URI
expression (see) and an XML expression (see). The SA7150
compares XML patterns to incoming XML data documents to
establish matches determining which server documents are sent to.
An XML pattern is "active" if the CLI command set xml enable is in
effect for the map specifying its assigned server.
