settings.
Remedy
Use the status command to determine
the media settings:
HP SA7150> status

Network port 100baseTX Full
Duplex
Server port 10baseT, Half
Duplex
Then use the nic command to force
common media attributes, e.g.:
nic
HP SA7150>
1 - auto
2 - 10baseT, half duplex
3 - 10baseT, full duplex
4 - 100baseTX, half duplex
5 - 100baseTX, full duplex
Select media type [1] 2
In the example above, 2 is the correct
choice because the setting must reflect
the "least common denominator" of
both media speed and duplex attribute,
i.e., the server port is determinative
because it has both the lower speed and
lower (half) duplex attribute.
