This chapter explains how to create and manage network user accounts.
User accounts are required to access private shared folders. User accounts
increase security on private shared folders by requiring passwords and setting
read/write permissions for each user. User accounts are also required to log
on to the HP Photo Webshare.
Creating a User
To create a user
At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and

then Control Center.
On the Tools tab, click Customize HP Media Vault.

You are prompted for an administrator name and password if you set one

Type the User Name.

If the user already has an account on a network computer, use the same
