Pause, Live TV/Playback(Timeshift) Setup and Operation

You can store a program in the storage space temporarily. If you use Pause,
Live TV/Playback (Timeshift) function a second time, the previous Pause,
Live TV/Playback (Timeshift) segment will be deleted.
Press TIMESHIFT while watching a TV program.

The progress Bar display appears on the screen as shown to the left.

The Progress Bar changes to the Pause,Live TV/Playback (Timeshift)
icon after 30 seconds.
1. Indicates the playback mode.
2. Indicates the Pause, Live TV/Playback(Timeshift) start time.
3. Indicates the bookmark point.
4. Indicates the Pause, Live TV/Playback(Timeshift)) elapsed time.
5. Indicates the current Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift) position.
6. Indicates the time after an hour from Pause, Live TV/Playback
(Timeshift) start time.
Press STOP to stop Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift) function.

The current broadcast is displayed on the screen.

• If disk space is insufficient during a Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift)
operation, the oldest Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift) section will be
deleted.
• To save disk space, a program that has no signal can't be stored.
• A blocked channel can be recorded but a black screen is shown during
recording.

• You can use trick play functions (Slow, Scan, etc.). Refer to Playback on
page 33.
• You can edit during Pause, Live TV/Playback(Timeshift) to keep the pro-
gram on HDD. Refer to Clip Record on 35.
Bookmark
During Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift), you can mark a point and play it
back automatically by pressing TIMESHIFT button.
Press TIMESHIFT to bookmark the point you want to return to later.

appears as shown to the left on the TV screen.
The Progress Bar display for Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift)
changes to the Timeshift icon.
Press TIMESHIFT to change the bookmark.

The bookmark point is moved to the marked position.
During Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift), press REPLAY to recall

the bookmark.
