Playback Options

Normal Playback
Select a program in the Program List then start playback (Refer to
Program List Settings General Operation on page 30 to see more
detailed information).
The progress bar display will appear on the screen.

To play back a recorded program which is locked by a user, you must unlock
on the Lock System Menu (Refer to page 24).
Scan
1 Press FF or REW during playback.
The receiver will go into SCAN mode.
2 Press FF or REW repeatedly to select the required speed:
X2, X5, X20, X50 (forward) or X2, X5, X20, X50 (backward).
3 To exit SCAN mode, press PLAY/SLOW.

Pressing and holding the button (FF or REW), the speed increases as
indicated above.
Still Picture and Frame-by-Frame Advance
1 Press PAUSE during playback.
The receiver will go into PAUSE mode.
2 You can advance the picture frame-by-frame by pressing
PAUSE/STEP repeatedly on the remote control.
3 To exit PAUSE mode, press PLAY/SLOW.
Slow Motion
1 Press PLAY/SLOW during playback.
The player will go into SLOW mode.
2 To exit SLOW mode, press PLAY/SLOW.
Jump to Start
Press REPLAY during playback.
Jump to End
Press LIVE TV/END during playback.
Repeat
1 Press REPEAT at one point during playback.
To indicate start position, "X'' appears on the progress bar display.
2 Press REPEAT at another point during playback.
To indicate end position, "X'' appears on the progress bar display.
3 To cancel the sequence, press REPEAT or LIVE TV/END.
Stop
Press STOP during playback to see the current broadcast.
