Clip Edit

Clip Record
You can edit recorded programs.
Press RECORD/EDIT at the starting point of the section you want to

edit.
Progress of the edit is indicated in Blue on the progress bar.
Press RECORD/EDIT at the ending point of the section you want to

edit.
Normal playback continues.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to make several Clip edits of a program.

Press STOP to stop editing.

A dialog box appears as shown to the left, your options are:
Do Edit: Only the selected Clips edits are stored on the HDD (Hard Disk
Drive), other sections are not.
Undo Edit: Clip edits are deleted and you return to the viewing mode.
Cancel: The dialog box disappears and playback continues.

• Clip edits for playback of a program temporarily stored are not possible.
• The selected section is recorded and the other section is erased.
• If you want to stop Clip editing, press the STOP button. If you press
POWER to stop Clip editing, the program may not be recorded.
• Clip edits cannot be made for sections lasting less than 10 seconds.
You can edit during Pause, Live TV/Playback(Timeshift) to keep the program
on the HDD (Hard Disk Drive).
During Pause, Live TV/Playback (Timeshift), press RECORD/EDIT at

the starting point of the section you want to edit.

Press STOP to stop Pause live TV/Playback (Timeshift).

The current broadcasting is displayed on the screen.

Pause, Live TV/Playback(Timeshift).
• If you want to stop Clip recording, press the STOP button. If you press
POWER to stop Clip recording, the program may not be recorded.
• Clip records cannot be made for sections lasting less than 10 seconds.
