IGNITION SWITCH

The ignition switch (1) is located on the
right side, near the steering column.
NOTE
The key operates the ignition
switch/steering lock, the saddle lock and
the battery / tool kit compartment lock.
Two keys are supplied together with the
vehicle (one spare key).
NOTE
Do not keep the spare key on the
vehicle.

STEERING LOCK
Never attempt to place the ignition switch
in the locked " " (LOCK) position while
the vehicle is moving. This will cause loss
of control of the vehicle with possible
subsequent accident, serious injury or
even death.
OPERATION
To lock the steering:
♦ Place the vehicle on the stand.
♦ Turn the handlebar completely leftwards.
♦ Turn the key (2) to position "
and press it.
♦ Release the key (2).
NOTE
Turn the key (2) and steer the
handlebar at the same time.
