ADJUSTING THE VERTICAL
HEADLIGHT BEAM
To quickly check the headlight beam, place
the vehicle ten metres from a wall on flat
ground.
Switch on the low beam, sit on the vehicle
and check that the beam spot on the wall is
just below the horizontal (around 9/10 of
the height of the lamp from the ground).

To adjust the headlight beam:
Adjust the screw (1) with a screwdriver.
SCREWING IT IN (clockwise) lowers the
beam.
UNSCREWING IT (counterclockwise)
raises the beam.

To adjust the headlight beam:
Slacken off the nut (2).
Adjust the headlight angle (3).
Tighten down the nut (2).
Check that the nut really is tight (2).
Finally, check the beam angle once
more (3).

LIGHT BEAM

Slacken off the screws (1) securing the
headlight (2).
Press on the edge of the headlight lens
(2) to adjust the beam horizontally.
Tighten down the screws (2) securing
the headlight.
Check that the headlight (2) angle is
correct.
