From the Start menu,
choose Settings/
Printers.

Double-click on the
Add Printer icon
(Windows 2000). The
Add Printer Wizard
starts. Follow the
on-screen instructions.

Select local printer
(you are attaching to a
port, not to a printer
attached to a server).
Then select Next.
