The printer's current setup values can be read from the printer's
display window by browsing through the Setup Mode.
You can list the printer's current setup values by printing test label
"Setup Info" in the Setup Mode or by using Intermec Shell.
The current setup values can be sent to the host via the standard
serial communication channel using a SETUP WRITE
"uart1:" statement. See the Intermec Fingerprint Developer's
Guide (P/N 934-019-XXX).
The serial communication parameters control the
communication between the printer and the connected computer
or other devices on the serial port. "uart1:" and the optional serial
ports "uart2:","uart3:", "uart4:", and "uart5:". The optional
ports require one or two optional interface boards. The printer's
firmware detects if an interface board is installed in the printer
and presents additional sets of communication setup menus
depending on type of communication (refer to Chapter 7, "Setup
Mode" and the overviews depicted in Appendix E).
