Telephone call
It is required to connect the external telephone to this machine.
Check the dial tone before entering a fax number.
If you enter the number before checking the dial tone, the call may
not be connected or the wrong number may be dialed.

Sending a Fax Abroad (Adding Pauses)

When sending a fax abroad, you may need to insert a pause
within the number.
When communicating abroad, the distance becomes long,
and the route becomes complicated. Because of this, you
may not be able to connect to a recipient even by dialing an
international telephone identification number, country code,
and the recipient's fax number at a time. In this case, add a
pause after the international telephone identification number.
Because adding a pause provides an interval in the added
position when dialing, it becomes easy to connect to the
recipient.
