wrong Access Point.

Possible Cause
There may be a problem
with certain aspects of
outdoor installation con-
siderations (see relevant
section in this manual).
In a multicell structure with
overlapping cells, the units
may not associate with the
closest Access Point.
The APs in the same
coverage area have not
been assigned unique
hopping sequences.
Auto Calibration is enabled
for a "DE" unit.

Corrective Action
Refer to Section 5.3:
Verify that there is a clear line-of-site.
Verify antenna height.
Verify antenna polarization.
Verify antenna alignment.
Check length of cable between
antenna and unit (an overly long
extension cable may adversely affect
performance).
For a unit to associate with a specific
Access Point, assign a unique
ESSID to the Access Point and to all the
units you want to include in that wireless
network.
Assign a unique hopping sequence to
each AP in the coverage area. Each AP
must have a unique hopping sequence
regardless of ESSID.
Disable Auto Calibration for the unit.
