Configuring firmware/BIOS
Information on the firmware settings can be found in the User Manual (UM) for the
motherboard, see "Important instructions and manuals for operating the device (Page 10)".
Note
Assign a BIOS password
Assign a "User Password" in the "Security" menu immediately after opening the BIOS-Setup.
You can find information on this in the User Manual (UM) for the motherboard.
Note
If your device no longer boots, for example, after operating system crash during a firmware
update, contact your local SIEMENS contact person.

Recycling and disposal
The devices described in these operating instructions can be recycled thanks to their low level
of pollutants. Contact a certified disposal service company for electronic scrap for
environmentally sound recycling and disposal of your old device, and dispose of it according
to the relevant regulations in your country.
