▌Raising the vehicle level on the front axle
& WARNING Risk of accident because vehi-
cle level is too high
Driving characteristics may be impaired.
The vehicle can drift outwards, for example,
when steering or cornering.
Choose a vehicle level which is suited to
#
the driving style and the road surface
conditions.
& WARNING Risk of becoming trapped due
to the vehicle lowering
When lowering the vehicle, other people could
become trapped if their limbs are between the
vehicle body and the wheels or underneath
the vehicle.
Make sure nobody is underneath the
#
vehicle or in the immediate vicinity of the
wheel arches when you lower the vehi-
cle.
* NOTE Damage due to vehicle lowering
Parts of the body could be damaged when the
vehicle is lowered.
Make sure that there are no obstacles
#
such as curbs underneath or in the
immediate vicinity of the body when the
vehicle is being lowered.
Requirements
The vehicle is equipped with AMG ACTIVE
R
RIDE CONTROL and an axle lift for the front
axle.
The vehicle has been started.
R
The vehicle is not moving faster than 25 mph
R
(40 km/h).

Raising the front axle

The front axle is raised to a higher level.
The set vehicle level of the front axle is stored.
The front axle is lowered again in the following sit-
uations:
When driving faster than 25 mph (40 km/h).

By selecting t.

GPS-based raising
If the function is activated, it is possible to save
the vehicle position when the vehicle level is
raised.
Confirm the prompt.

The position of the vehicle is stored. When the
previously stored position is reached again,
the vehicle level is raised again.
