Race track mode
▌Function of race track mode

This function depends on the vehicle equip-
ment and is not available for all models.
In racetrack mode, driver assistance systems are
adjusted for operation on the racetrack.
Racetrack mode may not be used for normal road
operation. The function may be activated and
used only on dedicated race circuits, not on pub-
lic roads.
The following functions will be deactivated in race
track mode:

Racetrack mode is available only in the I
drive program and with Æ or ¤.

When Active Brake Assist and Active Lane
Keeping Assist are deactivated, the æ and
ï status lights will appear on the driver's
display.
AMG adaptive sport suspension system
▌Function of AMG RIDE CONTROL
AMG RIDE CONTROL is an electronically control-
led damping system for improved driving comfort
and increased driving safety.
The damping is adjusted individually to each
wheel and depends on the following factors:
driving style, e.g. sporty
R
road condition, e.g. bumps
R
the individual selection of SPORT, SPORT + or
R
COMFORT
The suspension setting depends on the engine
speed.
In addition, you can select the setting in every
drive program individually using the AMG steering-
wheel button (
