Checking the feed-dog position in the needle plate (artista 165/170)
· The feed-dog must be equidistant to each side of the
needle plate.
Check:
When lowering the feed-dog, it must drop by itself.

· Pin the stepping motor for lateral feed.
· The feed dog must be equidistant to each side of the
needle plate.

Correction:
· Loosen 3 screws (26).
· Move the pivot points sideways to the correct position.
· Tighten screws (26).

Correction:
· Pin the stepping motor.
· Loosen both screws (28).
· Center the feed-dog out.
· Retighten the two screws (28).
Note:
Check/set the distance of 2,4mm (a).
· When not correct, loosen both screws (27).
· Move the pivot points to the correct position
(no play/moving freely) and retighten the screws (27).
