Basic adjustment to the knee lifter lever
The end of the knee lifter should be vertical under the
right edge of the LCD.

Checking the release of the lifter lever
· Place the lifter lever in ist highest position.
· Turn the upper tension dial to no.10.
· When the knee lifter is actuated, the lifter lever must
drop down.

Correction:
· Loosen the screw (60) of the feed-dog drop unit.
· Insert knee lifter lever.
· Adjust the lifter to the convenient position.
· Tighten the screw (60).
Correction:
· Turn the adjustment nut (61) until the lever drops down.

· Check tension release mechanism.
Check:
Remove needle
Place in its place the gauge 030883.50.00
Place needle bar to its upper dead center
Push threader (1) downward until threader head (2)
turns in under the gauge.
Correction:
Loosen the adjusting screw (3) of the position clamp. The
threader head can be properly adjusted by moving it up or
down. Retighten the adjusting screw (3) of the position
clamp.
Important: Don't twist the needle bar, check basting
device.
