In this program the stitch pattern
"9"(double stitch length) is active.
artista 180 has the "pine tree" as a pat-
tern.
The center picture is a correct dupli-
cation of the pattern. The patterns
to the left and right, depict the tree
as a distorted pattern. The balance
can be altered by pressing either the
arrow to the left or right accordingly.
The increments available are 0, 4, 8,
12, and 16. The neutral position is
therefore 8.
If the stitch formation is not absolutely closed after elec-
tronic compensation, a fine adjustment can be made to
the balance regulating shaft, which can be
achieved through the opening (73).
Procedure:
· By means of a torx-key, turn the balance regulating
shaft as required.
· Turn clockwise
· Turn anticlockwise
Normal condition
The machine can now be sewn off.
L.C.R., straight stitch, stitch length
and width can be adjusted.
The Buttonhole sensors can be
checked for correct function and the
buttonhole sew-off.
Normal condition
The stitch pattern "pine tree" resp.
"9" must be closed.
