5. Clean the exhaust hole of the cylinder and
the intake hole of the muffler with a soft, dry
brush.
6. Loosen the screws securing the spark
arrestor. Remove the spark arrestor from the
muffler.
7. Clean the spark arrestor with a small wire
brush. Reinstall the spark arrestor to the
muffler.
8. Screw the spark arrestor to the muffler.
