It may be necessary to use a hood to increase the visibility of the spot by reducing the
ambient light intensity.
Note
If the alignment screws become loose, please tighten the screw with spring on the opposite
side of the flange.
The alignment procedure is completed when on the receiver and emitter sides, the light spots
are in the optimal aligning point of crosshair for particular analyzer. This alignment should be
valid even when the receiver and emitter units are mounted, dismounted or even when new
replacements are installed. However, it is advised to check the alignment prior to each
mounting.
