DIVIDING A TRACK
You can divide a track into two tracks by registering an index
mark.
Example
To divide the 3rd track into two tracks at 2 minutes 30 seconds:
2 minutes 30 seconds
2nd track
3rd: track
ss
2nd track | 3rd track
4th track

7 Press the MD button and load an MD.
2 During playback, press the Ill button at the point
where you want to divide the track.
The unit enters the playback pause mode.
3 Press the MD EDIT button so that "Divide" is
displayed.
"Divide" is displayed for 10 seconds.
Example:
When dividing the 3rd track
4 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.
The unit plays repeatedly the 3 to 4 seconds after the point
where you pressed the IE button.
