If you disconnec t the bat tery termin als, no
calc ulations can be made for the service
interval display dur ing this t ime and no
service reminder will appear. Remember
that observing the proper serv ice intervals
is vitally impo rtant to extending the life of
your veh icle, part icu larly the eng ine, and
ma intaining its value . Even if t he mileage
driven is low, the maximum per iod of one
yea r from one se rvice t o t he next must not
be excee ded .
