.,. Push the lever up as far as it can go to turn
on the right turn signal or down to turn on
the left turn signal

ance and release it to flash three times .

resistance and hold it there to determine
the flash ing t ime for the turn signals.
High beam

the high beam .

use the headlight flasher.
Notes on these features
- The
turn signals
only work with t he ignit ion
switched on. The indicator lights

the instrument cluster

also blink.
- After you have turned a corner, the tur n sig-
nal switches off automat ically.
- The
high beam
works only when t he head-
light s are on. The indicator light
II
in the
instrument cluste r illuminates when the
high beams are on.
- The
headlight flasher
works only as long as
you hold the lever - even if there are no
lights turned on. The indicator light
II
in
the instrument cluster illuminates when you
use the headl ight flasher.
A
WARNING
Do not use the high beam or headlight
flashe r if you know that these could blind
oncoming traffic.

When the emergency flasher is on, all four
turn signals blink at the same time. The turn
signal indicator lights

cluster, as well as the light in the emergency
flasher switch

blink likewise . The eme rgen-
cy flashe rs also work when the ignition is
tu rned off.
The emergency flasher will automatically
switch on if you are in an accident whe re the
airbag has deployed.

Tips
You should switch on t he emergency flash-
er when :
- you are the last vehicle standing in a traf-
fic jam so that any other vehicles coming
can see you, or when
- your vehicle has broken down or you are
in an eme rgency situation, or when
- your vehicle is be ing towed by a tow
truck or if you are towing another vehicle
beh ind you.
