NOTES ON INSTALLATION
TURNTABLE ASSEMBLY
ePIace the turntable on a level surface,
Do not connect the mains lead or the connecting cords until

ADAPTATION TO THE LOCAL MAINS
SUPPLY
The PS-3300 comes in two types.
Type I operates only on 240 V ac",
Type If operates on either 110, 127, 220 or 240 V
ac~,
For the type 11, before connecting to the mains supply, check
th at the voltage selector located at the bottom of your set is
set to your local mains supply.

If necessary, turn the selector switch with a coin or something
similar, so that the arrow mark point the proper
voltage
marking.

A line frequency change is not necessary since your turntable
system is furnished with a dc servo controlled motor.
Warning to the customers in the United Kingdom
THIS APPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED TO YOUR 3-PIN PLUG IN
ACCORDANCE WITH FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
IMPORTANT:
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Green-and-yellow:
Earth (safety earth)
Blue:
Neutral
Brown:
Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug proceed as follows :
The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be connected
to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E
or by the safety earth symbol

which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the

@ Place the Rubber Mat on the Platter.
eNever connect the mains lead without the Platter installed.
Otherwise the motor will run at an uncontrolled speed.
e Be careful that no foreign objects lodge under the Platter.
e Do not attempt to rotate the Platter counterclockwise by hand.
e Save the packing box and materials for possible future use.
