POP3 and SMTP
POP3 and SMTP Setup
Internet Fax / Scan to E-mail
From a Workstation (With the information you obtained in the Before You Start section):
1.
Open a Web Browser and enter the TCP/IP address of the machine.
2.
Select Properties.
3.
Select Machine Details.
4.
Enter Machine E-mail Address.
5.
Verify Date and Time are correct.
6.
Select Apply New settings. (Note: this requires the Admin Password.)
7.
Select Reboot to have the new settings take effect.
8.
Wait until the machine has returned to Ready to Copy.
9.
Select Port Status.
10.
Verify the following are enabled.
Receive E-mail
Send E-mail
Mail Notice Service

Select Apply New settings. (Note: this requires the Admin Password.)
12.
Wait until the machine has returned to Ready to Copy.
13.
Select the plus symbol to the left of Protocol Settings.
14.
Select E-mail.
15.
Fill in the appropriate information (POP3 or SMTP) based on local E-mail settings
Receiving protocol
Print Mail Headers and Contents
Print iFax Headers and Contents
Print Error Mail
Split Size of Outgoing Mail (1-999)
POP3 Server Address
POP3 Server Check Interval
POP3 User Name
POP3 User Password
Confirm Password
SMTP Sending Authentication (POP3 before SMTP)
SMTP Server Address
16.
Select Apply New settings. (Note: this requires the Admin Password.)
17.
Select Reboot to have the new settings take effect.
