The drying result is not
satisfactorily
(laundry is not dry
enough).
If you cannot rectify a fault yourself (after turning the program selector from and back on) or
when a repair is required:
Turn the program selector to From.Remove the plug from the socket.
■
Turn off the tap and contact customer service.
■
Cause/Solution
water is constantly needed to dry the laundry. Therefore, the water tap
must be open all the time until the end of the drying phase.
Run the (cold) program Cottoni — to remove fluff that has
■
accumulated in the washing drum during the drying phase. When the
ambient temperature is higher than 30°C, the drying time may become
■
longer.
Insufficient air circulation in the room can increase the drying time. Ventilate
■
the room.
Additional program setting for drying not selected?
■
Door not closed properly?
■
Wrinkling occurs when you have exceeded the maximum load or
■
have selected the wrong program for the type of fabric. All
necessary information can be found in the program overview
table. Remove clothing immediately after drying; wrinkling can
■
occur when clothes are left in the drum.
At the end of the programme, warm laundry feels damper than it
■
actually is. Spread the laundry out and let the heat escape.
Excessively high ambient temperature (above 30°C) or insufficient
■
ventilation in the room where the washer dryer is located. The laundry
has not been spun sufficiently before drying. Always select the highest
■
possible spin speed for the respective wash programme.
Washer-dryer overloaded: follow the recommendations for the
■
maximum amount of laundry in the program table and on the load
display. Do not put too much laundry in the washer dryer, because the
maximum load for drying is smaller than that for washing. After
washing, empty the washer dryer with a maximum amount of laundry
and divide the laundry into two drying cycles. The power supply
voltage is too low (less than 200 V) – provide a suitable power supply
■
voltage.
The water pressure is low. According to the water condensing principle, a low
■
water pressure will cause evaporated steam to not condense properly and
completely.
The water tap is closed during drying. Since the water
■
condensation technique is used for drying, you must leave the
connected water tap open during the drying process; otherwise
correct drying cannot be guaranteed.
Thick textiles, consisting of several layers or with a thick filling,
■
dries easily on the surface, but not on the inside. As a result,
drying can take more time.
