Open the service door.

Remove the drain hose from the
holder. Remove the sealing cap and
allow the water to flow into a suitable
container.
Replace the sealing cap and place
the drain hose back in the holder.

Carefully unscrew the pump cover;
residual water may leak out. Clean
the inside, the
threads of the pump cover and the
pump housing. The impeller in the
drain pump must be able to rotate.

Reinstall the pump cover and screw it
on. The handle must be in a vertical
position.
6.
Close the service door.
Note:
To prevent unused detergent
from flowing directly into the drain
during the next wash: pour 1 liter of
water into Compartment II and start
the [
Drain program.
