Save energy and resources
If you follow these instructions, the
appliance will use less electricity and
water.
Choose programs with low temperatures
and longer washing times, and use the
maximum load capacity
~ page 31.
Energy consumption and water
consumption are then the most efficient.
Use the most economical program
settings.
If you adjust the program settings for
a programme, the display shows the
expected consumption.
Depending on the degree of soiling
of the laundry, add detergent ~
page 30.
A smaller amount of detergent is
sufficient for light to normal soiling.
Follow the dosage advice of the
detergent manufacturer.
Reduce the washing temperature for
lightly and normally soiled laundry.
At low temperatures, the device
consumes less energy. For light to
normal soiling, lower temperatures
than indicated on the care label are
also sufficient.
Set the maximum spin speed if you want
to dry the laundry in a dryer afterwards.
The drier the laundry, the shorter the
program duration during drying, which
again
energy consumption decreases. A
higher spin speed reduces the residual
moisture in the laundry, but leads to a
increased spin noise.
