Before Starting Engine - Hitachi Zaxis 850LC-3 Operator's Manual

BEFORE STARTING ENGINE

1. Confirm that pilot control shut-off lever (1) is in the LOCK
position.
2. Confirm that all control levers are placed in neutral.
3. Adjust the seat to allow full pedal and control levers
stroke with operator's back against the backrest. Fasten
the seat belt.
NOTE: Use a wet cloth when wiping dust off monitor or
switch panels to prevent damaging the panel face.
Rubber is used on the switch parts. Take care not to tear
the rubber-made parts with sharp-edged tool, such as
a screwdriver.
CAUTION:If the security lock screen is displayed when
turn the key switch to ON position, return key switch
to OFF. Wait for more than 30 seconds (the buzzer
stopped), then try again. If the security lock screen is
displayed again, contact your nearest HITACHI dealer.
