The desired wipe pattern can be selected by two methods.
One is to select the pattern by pressing a pattern code select
button. The other is to select the pattern by designating the
pattern code. The two methods change cyclically every time
the WIPE button is pressed.
When the figure is displayed in the pattern code indication
window, a wipe pattern is selected by the pattem
code: When the figure is not displayed, a wipe pattem is
selected by pressing a wipe pattern select button. The wipe
patter and the pattern code are shown in "TABLE OF WIPE
PATTERNS?' at the end of this manual, or the supplied WIPE
PATTERN LIST.

To select a desired wipe pattern with the pattem code,
proceed as follows. The other operating procedure is the
same as that using the wipe pattern select buttons.

1 Press the WIPE button until the figures appear in the
pattern code indication window.
The M button at the right lower end of the wipe pattem
select buttons lights.

2 Press the upper two-row buttons of the wipe select buttons
until the desired pattern code appears in the window.
The M button starts blinking.
Three buttons of each row correspond to right, center
and left digits in the window.

3 Press the M button.
Blinking of the M button stops, and the designated
pattern is selected.
© When the figure which has not the corresponding wipe
pattem is designated, the M button remains blinking, and
the wipe pattem cannot be selected.
Note on wipe patterns of pattern code 300 to 307
When the wipe pattems of pattem code 300 to 307 (mosaic
wipe) are selected and the unit is remotely controlled by
external equipment such as an BVE-900, it is not possible to
wipe at the speed of 8 frames or more.
