Store a constant chassis height for loading
and unloading the vehicle.

Vehicles with a trailing axle: lower the trail-
ing axle (

If required, raise/lower the chassis to the
desired height.

Run the engine until the pressure regulator
cuts out.

Press and hold the T button on the control
panel or the ¤ button on the instrument
panel.

Switch off the engine.
X
Remove the key from the key slot.
X
Release the T button on the control panel
or the ¤ button on the instrument
panel.
If there is sufficient reservoir pressure in
the compressed-air system, the height of
the chassis frame is kept constant for
approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Forced lowering
If you engage power take-off, the vehicle is
completely lowered on all air-sprung axles.
This increases the vehicle's tilt stability. If you
disengage power take-off, the vehicle
remains lowered until you select a level.
Forced lowering is ended if:
you switch the ignition off and on again

you press the T button on the control unit
R
you press the ¤ button on the instru-
R
ment panel
you press the ë button
R
Road paver operation
Example: road paver operation button
In road paver operation, the level control per-
manently regulates the driving level, regard-
less of operating conditions. This makes it
possible to maintain an even level with the
road paver, and forced lowering is deactiva-
ted.

To activate: press the upper section of the
ë button.
In the display, ë flashes, the indicator
lamp in the ë button flashes and the
function is preselected.
X
Engage power take-off (
ë is shown in the display, the indicator
lamp in the ë button is on and the func-
tion is activated.
X
To deactivate: press the upper section of
the ë button again.
The ë message in the display and the
indicator lamp in the ë button go out.
