Activate or deactivate the function.

It is recommended that you always leave
Active Brake Assist activated.
When switching off the Active Brake Assist, the
distance warning function, the collision warning,
the autonomous braking function and the Active
Evasive Steering Assist (with Driving Assistance
Package) are switched off.

If Active Brake Assist is deactivated, the æ
symbol appears in the status bar of the driver
display and when the vehicle is next started
the system is activated again.

Speed Limit Assist detects speed limits with the
multifunction camera and displays them in the
driver display and optionally in the head-up dis-
play. The camera also detects speed limits with a
restriction indicated by an additional sign (e.g. in
wet conditions).
