Resistance temperature detectors
The SITRANS TDL system includes resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) input for measuring
the process temperature.
The system supports RTDs of PT100 and PT1000 type in 2-, 3-, and 4-wire connection
scheme. Two dip switches are used to configure the system according to the actual RTD
configuration.
The type of RTD (PT100 or PT1000) is set by using the dip switch "RTD" located next to the
terminals 35 and 36.
