After verifying it, start the burner again, always with the switch in
"MANUAL" position, and proceed at the air capacity setting,
throught the variable variable profile cam adjustment 6).
All cams are adjusted through the variation of the variable profile
4)(Fig. 29), acting on the regulation screws 2) such screws will be
locked through lock screws 3), at the end of the operations.
When this first adjustment is executed, increase the supplied
power, using the special selector at automatic return (shutter +/-
) fixed on the electric console, and stopping after a 15° servomo-
tor stroke; execute a new setting, acting on the oil and air cams
(set the variable profile of the cams).

Burner ignition (light oil)

Set the selector on the main panel to "ON".
Set the fuel selector to "OIL" to select light oil as fuel.
When the limit thermostat (TL) is closed, the heat request signal
must be switched on.
At first ignition, there is a momentary drop in fuel pressure due to
the filling of the nozzle piping.

Adjustments prior to ignition (gas)

In addition, the following adjustments must also be made:
 Slowly open the manual valves situated upstream from the
gas train.
 Adjust the minimum gas pressure switch (Fig. 37) to the start
of the scale.
 Adjust the maximum gas pressure switch (Fig. 36) to the end
of the scale.
 Adjust the air pressure switch (Fig. 35) to the start of the
scale.
 Purge the air from the gas line.
We recommend using a plastic tube routed outside the build-
ing and to purge air until gas is smelt.
 Fit a U-type pressure gauge or a differential pressure gauge
(Fig. 32), with socket (+) on the gas pressure of the pipe
coupling and (-) in the combustion chamber. The manometer
readings are used to calculate MAX burner output.

Proceed in such way, till the maximum capacity, that should be
obtained at the maximum servomotor stroke (130°), is reached.
Verify again the combustion parameter values at the various
modulation powers, and do the right settlements; when the opti-
mal adjustment is reached, remember to lock the adjustment
screws of the cams variable profile by transversal screws.
NOTES
during the setting of the cams, do not exceed the limits of
the servomotor: 0° - 130°.
This lowering of the fuel pressure can cause the burner to lockout
and can sometimes give rise to pulsations.
Once the following adjustments have been made, the ignition of
the burner must generate a noise similar to the noise generated
during operation.
If a burner lockout occurs, refer to the "Release procedure" given
in the equipment manual supplied.
 Connect two lamps or testers to the two gas line solenoids to
check the exact moment in which voltage is supplied. This
operation is unnecessary if each of the two solenoid valves
is equipped with a pilot light that signals voltage passing
through.
Before starting up the burner, it is good practice to
adjust the gas train so that ignition takes place in
conditions of maximum safety, i.e. with gas deliv-

ery at the minimum.
