7.1.17.
REMOVING THE CRASH HELMET COMPART-
MENT
•
Remove any object (crash helmet, tool kit, use and
maintenance manual, etc.) from the crash helmet com-
partment.
•
Remove the battery compartment, see 7.1.18 (RE-
MOVING THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT).
•
Remove the rear part of the fairing, see 7.1.3 (REMOV-
ING THE REAR PART OF THE FAIRING).
•
Unscrew and remove the five screws (1), and then re-
move:

Starting relay (2);
-
Control unit (3);
-
Voltage regulator (4);
-
Service control unit (for Leonardo 250, only) (5).
•
Unscrew and remove the two screws (6) and remove
filter (7).
•
Withdraw the electric cables of the battery, fuse carrier
and service warning light reset switch (for Leonardo
250, only) through the suitable holes.
•
Unscrew and remove the two screws (8) rear part of
the frame.
•
Lower the saddle.
•
Remove the crash helmet compartment complete with
the saddle, by lifting it vertically.
