It should not allow the shutter
release action prior to or during
the film advancing motion. Be
cautious at the point immediately
prior to completion of the film
advancing motion, particularly.

1) No vertical tolerance, but 0.2 or
less at the tip of the lever
permissible.
2) Smooth and accurate release
action (without friction, unevenness,
squeak or other unusual noises).
3) The release button should not
rotate.
4) Upon completion of the film advance
movement, the shutter can be
released. Other than that, the
shutter release button may be
pressed in only about 0.05 - 0.15
but not for the full stroke.
1) The number should progress by 1
accurately upon completion of the
film advancing motion, but not when
the rear cover is opened.
2) When the number plate stops at
(37), "E" should also be visible.
3) When the rear cover is opened,
the number should return,
accurately, to the S position.
