DESCRIPTION
SNR
The Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is the ratio between the received signal power and the
received noise power. The greater the number, the better the quality of WiFi.
The normal range is 15 to 40. If the value drops below 15, try moving the associated WiFi station
closer to the Zyxel Device to get better quality WiFi.
Level
This field displays a number which represents the strength of the WiFi signal between an
associated WiFi station and the Zyxel Device. The Zyxel Device uses the RSSI and SNR values to
determine the strength of the WiFi signal.
5 means the Zyxel Device is receiving an excellent WiFi signal.
4 means the Zyxel Device is receiving a very good WiFi signal.
3 means the Zyxel Device is receiving a weak WiFi signal,
2 means the Zyxel Device is receiving a very weak WiFi signal.
1 means the Zyxel Device is not receiving a WiFi signal.
