@ Operation of Al TIMER 1
1 Set the timer playback of program timer.
Switch the power of the amplifier OFF.

@ Operation of Al TIMER 2
With this function, when the power is switched ON
by the program timer, two tracks on the CD is played
first, then the broadcast from the tuner is received
automatically.
This
function
is given
the
highest
priority over other program timer functions.
1 Place a disc in the CD player.
Piace the disc on the plus 1 tray and close the
door. (For the M-97M
System)
2 Press the [Al TIMER 1 |key.

Select the maximum volume.

@ The display of the volume changes every time the key is
pressed. When
the key is released, the display goes off
and the volume level at that moment is stored in the mem-
ory.
To cancel Al TIMER 1
Press the
key
to select "OFF".
@ The| Al TIMER 1 |indicator goes off.

3 Press the [AI TIMER 2 |key.
@ The| Al TIMER 2| indicator lights up.
@ Also press the [Al TIMER 1| key if you want to increase the
volume in three steps.
To cancel Al TIMER 2
AI TIMER2
Press the key again.
@ The} Al TIMER 2] indicator goes off.
Notes:
1.When
the operation
keys of the graphic
equalizer or the
key on the remote
control unit is
pressed while the Al TIMER
1 function is carried out, the
volume is fixed at the level being set.
2. If the TUNER or TAPE input selector is selected during the CD
playback of Ai TIMER 2, the CD playback stops there and the
Al TIMER 2 function is canceled.
3. lf the operation keys of the CD player is pressed during the
CD playback of Al TIMER 2, the CD playback stops there and
the Al TIMER 2 function is canceled.
4. If the CD has not been inserted, reception of radio broadcast
starts at the moment Al TIMER 2 is activated.
5. Even when the program timer operation has completed, the
Al TIMER 14 and 2 indicators do not go off. Be sure to turn off
the indicators when the Al TIMER 1 and/or 2 is not required
any more.
