@ MULTI EDIT (Multiple disc edit) recording
record them on a single tape while replacing discs.
1 Set up Deck B ready for recording.
2 Select the CD/LD input.
3 Insert the disc in the CD player.
4 Select the |MULTI EDIT| mode with the
EDIT MODE | key of the CD player.

after setting
MULTI
EDIT. If 8 seconds have elapsed, select the MULTI
EDIT mode again.
5 Input the two-way recording time of the tape.
Use the numeric keys of the CD player.
C-60 tape: Press [+10 |6 times, and (0 Jonce.
C-46 tape: Press [+10 |4 times, and [6 Jonce.
@ 46, 54, 60 or 90 can also be selected _every
time the
[TIME
key is pressed. In this case, press the [|EDIT MODE]
key again
to establish the input.
@| EDIT! changes from blinking to continuous lighting, indicating
the program input stand-by, and the recordable time of side A
is displayed.
6 Select the desired mode of the cassette deck.
Press the

@ Normal edit recording takes place when you select

@ When you select [CROSS ], the intervals between music pieces
are linked by overlapping of fade out and fade in so that edited
recording with no breaks between pieces takes place.
Notes:
7 Select the tracks to be recorded.
Using the numeric keys of the CD player, input the track
Nos. in the order they are to be recorded.
The time remaining on side A or side B is indicated on the
display.
When the time remaining on side A is 30 seconds or less,
the next music piece is programmed on side B.
A music piece for which FADE is displayed during input of
the music piece number on side A fades out. If another mu-
sic piece number
is entered,
programming
takes place on
side B from that music piece.
A music piece for which FAdE is displayed during input of
the music piece number on side B fades out. If another mu-
sic piece number is entered, "FULL" is displayed and no fur-
ther programming can be accepted.
8 Press the
key.

Recording occurs as shown below (examle when three CDs
are to be recorded).

When FAdE is displayed during input.
@ Each time disc recording is completed, the CD player and
cassette deck stop together and the CD player tray comes
out automatically.
@ To record a second or third disc, change the disc and close
the disc tray, then repeat steps 7 and 8.
4.When the time entered on CD player is longer than the recording tape, the music piece at the tape end fades out if
[FADE | has been
selected with the! MODE]
key on the cassette deck. It becomes erased if | ERASE]
has been selected. Confirm that the input time and
the tape time are matched accurately.
2. Track No. 44 or more cannot be input.

3. The| SPACE | key and} REPEAT]
key functions are inoperative.
4. if the disc tray automatically closes, press the Open/close key to open the tray, replace the disc, then repeat steps 7 and after.
5. When programming tracks, do not select more than three to five tracks whose total recording time will exceed 45 minutes for each CD.
Failure to program your tracks within these limits can cause the CCRS recording control in the cassette deck to stop.
