If the engine is turned off with the warning
timing set to "Less Sensitive" or "Default",
the same warning timing will be maintained
when the engine is started again.
If the engine is turned off when LDW is also
off, LDW will automatically return to the
"Default" setting when the engine is
restarted.
LDW Operation Check
LDW Warning Light
It is normal if the LDW warning light
(amber) comes on when the engine control
switch is turned to the "ON" position and
goes out after approximately 10 seconds.
When LDW is enabled, the LDW ON
indicator light will illuminate in DIC sub
display 2.
See Driver Information Center (DIC) 0 64.
See Lane Departure Warning (LDW) Light
0 58.
LDW Warnings
When LDW detects the vehicle deviating
from a lane, it alerts the driver with
messages in the DIC display and warning
sounds.
