Vehicle Detected in Forward Direction
Operation of Adaptive Cruise Control
When no vehicle is detected in the forward
direction, your vehicle will travel at the set
speed.
When a vehicle is detected in the forward
direction:
The vehicle ahead indicator will illuminate
with the Adaptive Cruise Control/Lane
Departure Warning indicator light on the
Driver Information Center (DIC).
Your vehicle will travel at up to the set
vehicle speed while maintaining safe
distance from the vehicle is front of you.
Vehicle Not Detected in Forward Direction
When a vehicle is no longer detected in the
forward direction:
The vehicle ahead indicator within the
Adaptive Cruise Control/Lane Departure
Warning indicator light will go out.
Your vehicle will then accelerate to
and/or maintain the set vehicle speed.
