Press [ENTER) during play and press [ENTER) again at the pre-
ferred point to store a marker. (Marker no. replaces ">_".) Up to
5 markers can be stored in memory.
To store the next marker, press the cursor button [1_].
eTo recall e marker
Select the marker no. with the cursor buttons [_1, I_] and press
[ENTER).
eTo clear a marker
Select the marker no. with the cursor buttons [<, I_] and press
[CANCEL[.
eSome subtitles recorded around the marker may fail to appear.
eAII the markers are cleared when the player is switched to the
standby mode or turned off, or the disc trey is opened.
eA-B repeat play does not work with an interactive DVD.
eRepeat play and marker functions do not work with an interactive
DVD or during menu play of a Video CD with playback control.
=Dialogue Enhancer is effective with Dolby Digital (DVD-RV80 and
DVD-RV60) or DTS Digital Surround (DVD-RV80), three channels
or over, where the dialogue is recorded in the center channel.

(_) Contrast (-7ta +7):
Increase (+) or decrease (-) the contrast between bright
parts of the picture and the dark parts.
O Color (-7 to +7): Change the tone of the colors.
(_ Sharpness (-6 to +6):
Increase (+) or decrease (-) the sharpness of outlines.
® Brightness (0 to 15): Increase overall brightness.
(_) Digital noise reduction (0 to 4): Reduces picture noise.
(_ Gamma correction (0 to 5): You con modify the brillance of
the picture.
Detail and contrast in dark scenes can be increased by
raising the brightness of the center ranges while
maintaining the brightness of the blackest and whitest
parts of the picture.
C: Cinema mode (Cinema position): Picture for viewing movies
F I'_mr_ffi: Fine mode: Details are sharper.
S I_K;_R_I: Soft mode: Soft picture with fewer video artifacts.
