After press ng ENTER,the preset class and
number stop U nking and the receiver stores
the star on.
Naming station presets
For easier dentification, you can name your
station presets.
1 Choose the station preset you want to
name.
See Listening to station presets below for how
to do this.
2 Press T.EDIT (TUNER EDIT).
The d splay shows ST. NAME, then a bl nking
cursor at the first character position.
3 Input the name you want.
Names can be up to four characters long,
• Use the MULTI JOG dial (front panel) or
the ST +/- buttons (remote) to select
characters.
• Press ENTER to confilm a character. If no
character is input, a space is input.
• The name is stored when ENTER is
pressed after choosing the fourth char-
acter.
Tip
• To erase a staten name, simply repeat
steps 1-3and nput four spaces instead of
a name,
• Once you have named a staten preset,
you can press DISPLAY when listening to
a star on to swtch the d splay between
the name and the frequency.
Listening to station presets
You will need to have some presets stored to
do this. SeeSdving station presets on page 55
f you haven't done this already.
1 PressTUNER to select the tuner.
2 Press CLASS to select the class in which
the station is stored.
Press repeatedly to cycle through classes A.
B and C,
3 Press ST +/- (STATION +/-) to select
the station preset you want.
r_Note
• If the rece vet ie left d sconnected from
the AC power outlet for an extended
period, the station memodes will be lost
and will have to be repregrammed.
