Connecting the speakers (VSX-D812)
A complete setup of eight speakers (includ ng the subwoofe0 s shown below, but everyone's
home setup will vail/. Simply connect the speakers you have n the manner shown below, The
receiver will work with just two stereo speakers (the front speakers in the diagram) but using at
least three speakers s recommended, and a complete setup is best for surround sound, If
you're not usng a subweofer, change the front speaker sett ng (see Spea/_ersetting on page 45)
to large.
Make sule you connect the speaker on the rght to the rght term naEand the speaker on the left
to the left term nak Also make sure the positive and negat ve (+/-) term naEs on the receiver
match those on the speakers.
Be sure to complete all connections before connect ng this unit to the AC power source,
