Touchpad descriptions and part numbers
Description
Touchpad (includes touchpad cable)
Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the bottom cover (see

Remove the touchpad:
1.
(NFC models only) Disconnect the NFC antenna cable from the ZIF connector on the NFC board (1).
The NFC antenna is included with the touchpad spare part on models that offer NFC.
2.
Disconnect the touchpad cable from the ZIF connector on the card reader board (2).
3.
Remove the six Phillips M1.6 × 2.5 screws (3) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
TIP:

Remove the touchpad from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
