SPOKE TENSION CHECK
Correct spoke tension is very important for wheel stability and road safety. An incor-
rectly tightened spoke leads to the imbalance of the wheel and the possible loosening
of other spokes.
Check the spoke tension regularly, especially on new wheels. To do this, hit each
spoke with the tip of a screwdriver: the spokes should emit a uniform sound. In the
event of low tones, go to an Aprilia Official Dealer as soon as possible to check the
adjustment of the spokes.

EXCESSIVELY TENSIONED SPOKES MAY BREAK DUE TO A LOCAL OVER-
LOAD.

To refuel:

Insert the key (1) into the cap (2) and turn it anticlockwise.
