The system is active by default. However, if the system has been deactivated, to re-
activate it, access the dedicated function in the MENU.
Using the MODE navigation buttons, select level 1 if the level was set to 0.
When the ATC system is activated with the vehicle at a standstill, the a-PRC indicator
light flashes until the vehicle reaches a speed of 5 Km/h (3.1 mph).
Press the MODE UP and MODE DOWN buttons briefly to increase or decrease the
ATC level setting from "0" (OFF) to "4" (maximum system control).
Using the ATC/Cruise control command (if the cruise control is not active) it is possible
to modify the control value of the ATC system directly from the main screen, in all
riding modes.
The ATC value is increased or decreased (from 1 to 4) with short up or down presses
of the control.
From level 1, the ATC is permanently disabled with a long press downwards.
To reset the ATC, make a long or short push upwards.
With a prolonged upward press of the control (when stationary), all the ATC / ABS /
AEM / AEB parameters are reset to the factory values, including the values of the OFF
ROAD and INDIVIDUAL riding modes, if modified from the menu.
Regardless of the data displayed in trip log A or B, the modification of the ATC value
brings the traction control (ATC) value to the foreground.
CAUTION
TO GAIN FAMILIARITY WITH THE ATC SYSTEM, PREFERABLY USE LEVEL "4"
TO START WITH, THEN TRY THE OTHER LEVELS TO IDENTIFY WHICH ARE
THE BEST SUITED TO YOUR RIDING STYLE AND FOR DIFFERENT ROAD AND
WEATHER CONDITIONS.
