Top Vent - Horizontal Termination

Note: Use SLP Series
components only.
Fire Risk.
• When using SLP-HRC-SS termination cap on top
vented fireplaces, a one foot minimum vertical
vent section is required before installing first
elbow.
Installation of the elbow heat shield is
•
required when the clearance to combustible
material above the first vent elbow is six
inches or less.
Note: There MUST be a 25% reduction
in total H when using flex vent except
when using the simple up and out
installation. See Figure 4.9.
